Working with American Living was an absolute dream from start to finish. I would give 10 stars if I could. John and the entire team were incredibly responsive, kind, professional, and clearly experts in their field. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions, making the entire process not only smooth but truly enjoyable.
Everything was clearly itemized with no hidden costs or surprises — the estimate was spot on. Even better, my dream home was delivered ahead of schedule, and the quality is nothing short of superb. They brought my vision to life with care, precision, and genuine enthusiasm.
John and team built our 5 bed 3 bath house in South Haven and the experience couldn’t have been better. We live in Chicago so not being close I was worried and we had never built this type of home before but John and team made it so easy. I had great planning meetings and it was a breeze picking everything out and finalizing the plans. His office staff walked me through all the utility hookups, John communicated regularly, was extremely responsive and easy to get a hold of, answered any and all questions, provided detailed updates, was forthcoming and upfront about any challenges he might have run into, and the quality of the construction was outstanding.
