Monte Consulting developed the full set of illustrations for The Brake Industry Handbook, a technical reference book published by Hagman Media covering the global brake and friction industry. Technical illustration is unforgiving: the drawings have to be accurate enough to satisfy engineers who work with these systems every day, yet clear enough to teach someone new to the industry. Monte hit both marks.
They took dense subject matter, from caliper and rotor assemblies to friction material construction, and turned it into clean, consistent, professional-grade artwork. Every illustration matched the book's visual style, and the quality held steady across the entire project rather than drifting as the page count grew. When we needed revisions during our editing passes, they were responsive and got the details right the first time.
