Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic: Nelson David DVM

I would rate Platte Lake Vet a 3 stars if I only rated my visits today and yesterday. I gave them 5 stars because of the excellent care they have given our dogs over many years. Yesterday I brought our dog in for kidney stone evaluation. he is having an ultrasound today. Two things concerned me. In the past, the owners and animals were taken into an exam room to wait for the vet by themselves. This time all of the animals and owners stayed together in the waiting room until one by one, the animals were taken into the back. it made it very difficult because the animals were excited to meet each other and jumping all over everyone. They were very professional, caring, and compassionate. Our dog is unfortunately in the final stages of his life, but we were happy to be told that he still has time and that what we are doing for him is the right thing to do. The instructions for how to proceed were clear, so we feel very good about every aspect of our visit. I highly recommend Platte Lake Vets!

Dr Molnar is wonderful. Although it's a busy place, when she is with you and your pet, she is relaxed and does not rush. She took the time to explain the ACL surgery she did on our lab and it was successful! I highly recommend this practice.
