“Great Space! Overlooks the Lake. When it’s warm out, you can practice on the deck which is AWESOME. Ali is a fabulous teacher who offers students a chance to expand and improve their practice. Vibe is low key and chill. Highly recommend Harbor Yoga!!!“

“Jan is an incredible teacher. She was very helpful with my neck issues and knew how I needed to be positioned to not compromise my neck. The space is beautiful and very clean. My favorite class is SpringTone. You will not be disappointed with any class or instructor!“

“I've been practicing yoga for a number of years and have been to a number of venues. My favorite instructor is Tiffany. She has a unique ability to tailor the class to the ability and/or needs of the class. As a professor, she has educated many yoga instructors in our area; her students are all good instructors too. Yoga Roots as a venue is a sacred space where you instantly feel comfortable.“

“It had been over a decade since I'd taken a yoga class and I'm not sure how the experience could have been improved. Having studied and practiced yoga consistently in my 20's (including 6 months in India) I entered the long overdue class hoping for the unwatered down, non-hybridized (30 Minutes to Enlightenment, or Zumba Yogachi Bow 90X), Iyangar Yoga that I was taught in India. To have an instructor of Mary's caliber in Petoskey is a gift. She is sincere, authentic, and clearly a purist relative to the art. I look forward to breathing my way through the next class.“

“I have just started going to classes at Yoga Roots. The energy of the studio is warm, engaging and supportive. So inviting! I've taken two slow vinyasa classes. They've been rejuvenating. A great pace, with modifications offered in the friendliest way. I'm looking forward to growing in my practice in this welcoming community.“
