Not only on building some of the finest homes, but a long term relationship maintaining them. The Birchwood team truly go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. This past year I had a flat tire and I was in no shape to drive to the repair shop. Loren went back to the workshop and picked up a portable air compressor, came back and blew up my flat tire, so I could make it to the repair shop. I was so thankful

WOW!!! I think Bruce could retrieve one of my tiny hearing aids from the hole with the excavator if that’s what was needed! Decades of experience showed up even before me at 8 AM to immediately dig out the water line for my mother’s apartment building to fix a bursted water line flooding the downtown street so that the tenants could have water turned back on as soon as possible. Plus, saved the sidewalk, saved the city’s curb, followed all requirements to keep every worker safe. This is a business that came out of the 80’s (I assume) and so Bruce, Graham, and everyone actually understands why a job needs to be done right the first time. It helps the whole city for the work to be performed correctly. So by noon - 8 feet deep - Bruce had the hole filled up again with water flowing normal, and shortly after that, Graham had sod and seed down almost as if nothing happened. I think the City of Petoskey likes working with Harbor Springs Excavators, and as a long time competitive mogul skier, I like seeing Harbor and Petoskey get along!!! Go Northmen!!! Sorry Rams!!!!

This place is fantastic. They have the plants separated into annuals, perennials, for sun, and for shade. The plants are in great shape and look extremely healthy! And the prices are extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend!
Great Space! Overlooks the Lake. When it’s warm out, you can practice on the deck which is AWESOME. Ali is a fabulous teacher who offers students a chance to expand and improve their practice. Vibe is low key and chill. Highly recommend Harbor Yoga!!!
She’s great, I have super bad OCD with other sensory issues and people touching me can be difficult however she was extremely patient and really made a safe place for me to be able to relax and enjoy and she even explained everything that was about to happen to ease my mind.
I’d highly recommend as she is patient and listens extremely well to pinpoint issue areas on ur back or etc, I have had a area on my back that has hurt for so long I thought It was normal, but after my session it was the first time I was able to relax and actually Slept for hours once I got home.
I will be continuing and my next appointment will be a longer massage as well.

My experience was surprisingly delightful from start to finish…had a live voice answer with my first call, quote was provided quickly and work was completed well ahead of schedule. Contractor was in constant contact to explain what I could expect each day that I came home i.e. what kind of “work mess/equipment layout” to work around if I needed to or had guests over. Wow, this company is AMAZING. My elderly sister and her husband in Harbor Springs were in great need of landscaping for their 100+ year old home. Keller was very quickly responsive, listened to what they wanted, and came up with a beautiful plan. They not only installed that plan, removing old scraggly flora, but also seeded bare spots on the lawn and installed a drip irrigation system.
David Hoffman oversaw a pretty large project at our home on Walloon Lake Sept. 2021. The work is outstanding. A very professional staff and the crew was courteous and hard working (putting it mildly). In fact one of the crew said how proud he is working for almost 20 years for the family. He said "they treat their people right" and it shows. Thank you David and crew for a job well done. Highly recommend.
I came to this salon for a lash extension fill since my regular place is in Gaylord and I can’t always make the drive. I’m really particular about my lashes because I’ve had some fills in the past that just didn’t turn out how I hoped. But Estelle did an amazing job. I’ve been to over 10 lash artists, and she’s definitely one of the best I’ve found. I’ll absolutely be back!!
On June 16, 2025, I had a total knee replacement in Lansing. The acute care therapist was amazed at how well-prepared and educated I was thanks to Jim Perry. She said that if he was close to Lansing, she would be referring patients to him for physical therapy. Jim is enthusiastic in what he does and in the way he interacts with his patients. I’ve learned many things from him because he took the time to answer and explain the simplest questions. I would definitely recommend Jim and Bondy Physical Therapy as the place to go for all your therapy needs.
They did a beautiful job of a walkway I needed to redone around my house. Did a circular cut out for a tree as well that was perfect…. Lost the tree in the ice storm unfortunately.

It was an absolute joy working with Jim Morris Jr. to renovate our 1960’s lakefront cottage kitchen. Given the unavoidable stress, strain, and unpredictability associated with renovating older homes, we could not be more appreciative of Jim’s diligence, responsiveness, patience, and endless good cheer. While providing his opinions and guidance on current design and emerging trends, he was also exceedingly respectful of our opinions and preferences, establishing early on what felt to be a true collaborative partnership. Jim demonstrates not only a keen eye for aesthetics, but also a real talent for creating functional / family friendly spaces, while maintaining fidelity to the vintage natural charm of the cottage and views of the surrounding land and lake. His working practical knowledge of cabinet selection, color combinations, and decorating trends was evident and immensely beneficial throughout.
As detailed above, as exceptional as Jim’s professional talents may be, he is an even better overall person. He is interpersonally warm, generous, kind, and quick to smile. He takes the work very seriously, but not so much himself. His communications are clear and efficient. This all contributed to minimizing the worry and aggravation so often a part of renovation, and led to our overall experience being one that was surprisingly fulfilling and unexpectedly fun. By the end of the renovation, we not only saw Jim as a talented and trusted contractor we would refer a family or friend to without hesitation, but also has a highly valued and respected friend, who we hope to maintain a friendship with for years to come.

Kelly is incredible ! She has been cat sitting 3 wonderful cats for me many times ! She is extremely qualified and experienced. All 3 cats love her dearly and it is so obvious how happy they are when she is taking care of them ! There is no question about her love of animals !Kelly’s wonderful care allows me to totally relax while I’m away and never worry at all about their well-being . Can't recommend Jamie and team enough! Jamie was so pleasant and collaborative to work with for our wedding day florals. She right away nailed what we wanted and was able to iterate very effectively. The florals at our ceremony and table landscape at our dinner were truly breathtaking and something we will always remember.
Trying to get a great haircut has been tough for me due to my fine, straight hair. It's rare for me to have and maintain a flattering style ... until Carrie! She listens to input and then gets it done. Finally, a cut that works! I especially like her attention as I'm the only client when she's cutting my hair - she doesn't work me into a color or another's more time consuming process - just me.

These guys were lifesavers. We called to get our roof shoveled and they came the very next day. Saved us from any problems that could have developed with so much snow on our roof.
They also do all things exterior, roofing, siding, windows, doors and decks.
We love Little Traverse Vet. They’ve been great to us and our pets. We recently needed end of life care for our 13 year old dog. They got us in quickly and were extremely compassionate and understanding. They helped our beloved girl pass with dignity and grace.
