My husband and I went on a ride a few days ago at the Waterloo Stable location and loved it! Friendly and engaging staff, beautiful and gentle horses, and pretty trails! Highly recommend! They include a little riding lesson at the beginning too. Even though I grew up around horses, it’s always nice to have a little refresher course before riding out on these powerful yet majestic horses.

This was an amazing experience! All 4 people on the hour long trail ride were novice riders. They did a great job of teaching how to control the horse, and support on the ride. The ride itself is amazing, you go through meadows, forests. If it's dry you will get dusty, be prepared. Most importantly in my review, their horses are treated well. Given regular medical and dental care, resting between rides, strict weight limits are different for each horse, they are really well cared for. They rescue 80% of their horses. Geriatric horses are sent to pasture not sent to auction. Just wanted to put that out there for fellow animal lovers.

My hubby and I had a beautiful ride enjoying the fall leaves. We are both novices and the staff and horses were great! Made it really easy to just get out and enjoy the beauty! Even better when I learned that the horses are ALL rescues. I thought it was a little expensive until I learned more about what it takes to keep a horse, and saw the love these horses get. A win/win for everyone!!!! 🥰
