This was my first time at punch up barbershop and it was a great experience. Ian did a great job and asked helpful questions to make sure he understood how I wanted my haircut. He also is just a very kind and thoughtful human and barber as well. The owner Davis and his team have done a great job making this barbershop feel like a really comfortable place with a dynamic design aesthetic and a welcoming atmosphere. I would come back and also could easily bring my kids here as well!
Had my first visit to Punch Up yesterday— thoroughly impressed. I have a couple cowlicks in tricky locations, and getting my hair cut with someone new can always be a little bit of a gamble. Ryan at Punch Up did a great job listening, communicating & executing. Super impressed with the service, and thrilled with how the haircut came out.
Beyond that, love the vibes of the shop. Definitely feels warm, welcoming & chatty. All the guys feel like someone you could easily grab a beer with.
Davis is the best barber I've had in my life. Always listens to what I want, what works, what doesn't, etc. AND get's my style right. The hospitality of him and everyone else at Punch Up is top notch. I love supporting local and this is one of the most welcoming, honest, and just overall down to earth businesses in West Michigan.
