A great traditional Barber shop. Very professional, pretty fast and friendly. They will also put shaving cream on your neck and shave your neck. They go the extra mile here. And that's great because I drove a few extra miles just to go there. Great!

During COVID, I’ve been getting me haircut by my wife. Finally there is only so much she wanted to tackle so I ventured out and came to the Plainfield Barber Shop to “get my ears lowered!” Robert is the last remaining barber out of the group of 4 barbers that I have been going to since 1984 when they were in the 2nd floor at the old Meijer on Plainfield. Gone are Ken and Ted, while Vicki retired after knee replacement surgery. Robert decided to keep the business going after being shut down for 3 months. Wow! Great haircut for the price! You know you're in good hands when you sit down(this was my first time being here) and the barber calls out your haircut and does it perfectly. I found my new barbershop in Grand Rapids
