Michigan Road Testing

We arrived a little late due to traffic, and the examiner was really understanding, knowing we’d come a long way. He gave clear instructions, answered all my questions, and used visuals during the parking portion to make sure I knew exactly what to do. He kept things friendly but still professional, and even gave me tips after the test to help me keep improving my driving. Overall, a great experience with someone who genuinely cares about your success on the road.

I had my test this morning with David H at the Big Rapids location. He was very nice and polite and didn’t make me any more nervous than I already was. He also made small talk with me throughout the drive to make it less awkward and stressful. He gave very clear instructions that were easy to follow. I would definitely recommend David for your test after reading some of the negative reviews of other instructors.

Due to disability issues we have had to schedule more than one test at this location. On the third try the instructor/proctor was not the gentleman we had been working with previously. It was an extremely unpleasant woman who was power tripping. After road work on our street and a garbage truck slowly making its rounds in front of us we were exactly 3 minutes late.
The proctor looked at us as if we’re mentally deficient. She said you’re late, no test, no refund.
3 minutes.
