I forever wanted to find an artist here because I love the environment! That’s when I found Alyssa! She is so amazing and truly pays attention to detail. She did the best shag cut, then as soon as I got home I realized I needed her for some balayage! Excited to see what we come up with!
I brought my sister here first, she has curly irish hair (straight on top, curly underneath) and they did an amazing job cutting it to a nice manageable and stylish shape. my sister left happy. so i decided Id get my own hair cut there, too. I cant stand my hair getting stuck in my collar or touching my neck all over, I needed it CHOPPED. And, let me tell you, Hunter is SO welcoming and fun, such a great conversationalist. they talked me through what I wanted out of my haircut even though I wasnt quite sure what I even wanted, they pulled up Pinterest and we chose a respective style. they washed and cut the crap out of my hair. I have never had a more sexuality-affirming haircut. so much so that I was in complete shock and needed time to process and sit with the me I saw in the mirror even hours after my appointment. the dualities of accepting your gender and/or sexuality are difficult to navigate. and my haircut helped me take a step closer to understanding myself and seeing myself for who I am. totally different to know on the inside who you are and to SEE that person on the outside. Meg at lilith's lair not only does a fantastic job with the vibrant hair colors I want, she's super friendly and great to be around. My hair is longer than it looks, darker than it looks, and tangles very easy when having hair services done. In the past I have had issues with stylists at other locations being either too rough or not being realizing how much of a butt my hair can be-I had gotten to the point I literally recited off my hair details to try and prevent any issues or complications. I have never had to worry with meg and no matter how tangled my hair gets she is gentle with it and patient. The results are always beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on the vibrants she has done for me. Her skill and personality are why I drive 35-40minutes to have my hair done by her.
