Cascade Barber Shop is truly a quintessential barber experience in West Michigan.
Best place for haircut around. Men and boys only. This is where the community meets and you hear what's happening in town. Lots of fun characters drop by to socialize. Wait can be long.
Specialties: They sell farm fresh eggs and Christmas trees. Free coffee, cookies and red licorice.
Hair type: Not much left.
Quintessential barber shop with everything you'd expect, plus a bit more. Solid hair cut, dudes in the shop that you can't tell are there to get haircuts or just BS, and even snacks and coffee. The proprietor Andy is an artist of barbering, which is a lot more than just giving a haircut.
This is a real neighborhood barbershop. Andy (and before him his late father) is both friendly and professional. The conversation always flows easily around the wood stove. I have never had a bad haircut or uninteresting time at the Cascade Barbershop. I think I have been going there for more than two decades. I highly recommend this establishment if you need your hair cut or wish some good local conversation.
