I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible transformation Heather at Best Friends Academy has brought to our Newfoundland pup. As the second owner, we faced numerous challenges with our young dog who was under-socialized, felt abandoned, and had no manners. He was destructive and difficult to manage, causing significant stress within our family. Despite my belief that adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment, his behavior was becoming unmanageable. 6 years ago I bought my first Bernese Mountain Dog which was sold to me as a show potential puppy. I was told to bring her to Heather for evaluation after she grew up a bit to see if she was in fact show quality. After evaluation, Heather worked with Olive to train her and myself for the confirmation show ring. She has always been kind, and knowledgeable when it comes to her approach to dog training.Olive absolutely loves her Aunt Heather and whines with excitement every time she sees her or gets close to her facility!Thank you Heather for all you do!
