We called Ron's about an 8 year old Ge Profile refrigerator that we had tried to fix numerous times, with no luck. The person who took our call was a little short, but finally scheduled the appointment and we were pleased with the serviceman who came out. I believe he said he was Ron's son. He wasn't able to help fix the fridge, but gave us honest feedback, and chatted for a little bit about what he would do in our situation and how much a repair through Ge could be. He also gave a brand recommendation in case we decided to buy new. We took his advice, bought the new fridge, and based off of this interaction, we will call Ron's again when we need an appliance repaired!

Called to ask for a repair service to come out and look at my dryer which had a gas smell only on the inside of the dryer. After talking through what I was seeing on the phone they asked if I had painted or stained in the house recently (I did) and that it may be causing the smell. Gave me a tip of get airflow into the laundry area and call back if the problem didn't resolve.The issue did resolve over the course of the next week or two. Honestly just impressed that they were willing to give me that diagnosis over the phone and not send a tech out and charge me to tell me the same thing. Ron's will be the first place I call next time I have an issue with one of my appliances.
