    Diane Pompei from Coldwell Banker acted as a buyer’s realtor for us. As experienced buyers, we didn’t realize how important a really excellent agent is until this purchase.

    In the course of an extremely messy sale, she discovered that the family’s representative for the sale had no legal authority, that the house had an easement (which was not disclosed), that deficits in the property were not on the disclosure. She handled work beyond the scope of a buyer’s agent in getting an easement survey and guiding the title company to register it, getting ‘condition’ information on the house so we could get insurance, communicating with the seller’s attorney to get the proper paperwork in place so that the property could be sold.

    She contacted neighbors tracking down the mysterious missing easement and asked title agents to research specific properties in this regard. Diane was relentless in getting every detail right, in correcting every error, in insuring we would not be handed a purchase riddled with errors or a purchase that was not legitimate. By closing date, the paperwork had been made perfect and we were grateful to have had someone so invested in getting things right.
