Hurley Hospital is the best hospital in Genesee County! The level of care my mom received exceeded my expectations. Every employee there was kind, courteous, professional and caring. I highly recommend Hurley Hospital to anyone who seeks exceptional care.
Let’s start with the good; Nurse Amber and Tanya on 2E (pediatric unit at night) are AMAZING! Those ladies know their stuff and truly care for patients (and the caregivers). Mike a day nurse was wonderful also, but Tanya and Amber really were my rock stars!
The bad: Nurse Chelsea again 2E pediatric unit but a day nurse was HORRIBLE, she wasn’t even my sons nurse but has the audacity to talk sideways to me and think it was ok. The child who was roomed with my son was 2 months old and alone most of the time, his MOTHER and the night nurses did not have issue with me helping out while she wasn’t there to care for her baby. Our experience in the PICU (Hurley Medical) last month was truly exceptional. I wanted to make sure I took the time to share my experiences. The doctors and nurses were wonderful—so caring, attentive, and compassionate every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything, checked in often, and treated us with genuine kindness. In such a stressful time, their support meant more than words can express. We are incredibly grateful for the care we received. Thank you 🩷
