The Genesee Health Plan (GHP), established in 2001, provides essential preventive health care services to residents of Genesee County who often work multiple jobs without health insurance or have recently lost their coverage. Their services include doctor visits, outpatient mental health care, prescription drugs, dental care for seniors and veterans, labs, x-rays, mammograms, and cancer screenings. GHP operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last appointment at 4:00 p.m., and has limited space with only two chairs in each office. The Staff was so helpful, the moment I walked in. I needed assistance for my disabled adult son and received the help. Everyone was friendly and gave me the resources needed. Customer Service was excellent! I hope in person Customer Service Continues.
I visited the Genesee Health Plan today on Linden Rd, and everyone I encountered was extremely helpful, Dee, was very professional, prompt and made me feel at ease. This is one of My best experiences dealing with the health care sector... other companies should take notice and learn from the GHP and how they treat their clients. I am over the moon at having to not worry about insurance thanks to the GHP!! ??
