Very disappointed in the communication and follow thru with care for mom recovering from a surgery at home. Nurses change abruptly with no notice. Just suddenly they become unavailable until someone new pops into the case. Dr. orders never seem to make it to them. You must stay on top of every thing because the office doesn't seem to manage communication to the ever changing staff well. Very difficult to even reach a person as the phones are not regularly staffed well.

When I was hired, I was told I would be paid $14 an hour. My first paycheck issued showed this as well. But, on my next 3 paychecks, I was only receiving $13.50 an hour. I was told this would be fixed. It never was. I was unable to cash any of my checks at a check cashing location (Walmart or Kroger), and was told I had to open a bank account to get paid (to deposit my checks). They refused to do direct deposit. My last check, from over a week ago, was returned to my bank as unplayable. I made multiple attempts at resolving this, but my emails, phone calls and mailed letters went unresolved. I am about to take the company to court, as are a few of the clients I had, and an going to get the money they owe me. DO NOT WORRY HERE! And, if you can avoid it, do not allow your insurance to hire them. They are defrauding the insurance companies by charging for services that were never provided.

You would be hard pressed to find a worse home healthcare agency. Before entering into a contract with them, I asked if they do criminal background checks on the people they send into homes. They didn't. I only had a couple of girls; more than one ended up having a criminal record.I asked about substitutes if my primary person couldn't come. I was told they had subs. They guaranteed I would never be without care, even if they "had to come (themselves)". Instead, I frequently went without care. One time I was SIX WEEKS without a caregiver! Someone was here maybe 1/3 of the time after they contracted with me.I was stolen from. It was one of two girls, sisters. These sistersbrought a lot of unnecessary "tension" into my home. They didn't like each other and made that clear. Workers asked for my belongings. One of these girls was going to pay me for a vanity and a phone charger she needed urgently. She never came back after getting a mattress, vanity and charger. I asked Ascension if I should report this to the police; they never got back with me.The other sister J came twice. She ruined two loads of new clothes I bought after losing a lot of weight. I reported this immediately and was told they would compensate me, but it never happened.Workers complained about checks bouncing, not getting paid, etc. Communication was nonexistent. My APS worker and I called and texted for months without a reply. I never officially stopped with them. This is just a glimpse of what my 6ish months with them was like.
