Working with Bob added a silver lining to the experience of my mother dying, as odd as that might be to say. My mother did not have anything prepared for her passing, and it was up to me to handle all of the details. Bob knows his business, quickly figured me out as a customer, and worked with me knowing I didn't want to bust the budget and yet still pay respect to my mother. He had compassion and patience, which is exactly what is needed in such moments. At the funeral, he had everything ready and prepared, my mother looked great, and how Bob interacted with my 7 year old son helped ease a difficult and confusing time for him.
Bobcean Funeral Home provided outstanding care and compassion during one of the most challenging times of our lives. My mom, Lorinda Beneteau, passed away very unexpectedly on December 6, 2024, and her viewing was held there on December 15. I highly recommend Bobcean Funeral Home. Bob Gilbert handled my father's funeral with such grace and integrity. During this devastating time, Bob walked us through every step with gentleness and compassion. He was present and available for all questions that we had from the time he received my father's body shipped from Florida to the final burial at Michigan Memorial Park. Our family was extremely satisfied; he made a difficult time more manageable.
