I came to the Plant House because I needed a level of support/guidance that I knew I wasn’t going to receive at a big box store. Maybe at a garden center, but this place seems to specialize in indoor house plants specifically, and they are a small business in my neighborhood. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. Patrick listened to my needs and answered all of my questions, and then guided me to several choices of plants that were well suited to my specific use-case. Beautiful plants and very knowledgeable staff. I've had some plants that I purchased here for years now and they are just as beautiful as when I bought them! There is a decent selection of topicals, succulents, and air plants. It's a bummer this location is only open on weekends, but they do have an online website you can order from!

I stumbled into The Plant House after seeing the most beautiful string of pearls from the sidewalk on 9 mile. Upon walking in to the Rust Belt Market, I realized there are 2 areas of the market associated to The Plant House. They have a rotating inventory of plants that are just absolutely stunning and range from small succulents to large trees, so I always go in expecting a nice surprise and new addition to my collection. The staff is super friendly and can answer any and all things plants. If you follow them on social media you'll get a sneak peek into their new plants. They do operate on limited hours (just weekends) so plan your trip accordingly
