Locs of Love is a premier natural hair salon specializing in natural hair care, extensions, and protective styles. Clients describe it as a whole vibe, with great people and great stylists. The shop is owned by a young black woman. Nikita is frequently praised as an excellent loctician who changed a client’s life, making them feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Another client appreciated Nikita’s knowledge, courtesy, and pleasant conversation. Brenda is a fantastic loctician who took time to care for hair, styled it beautifully, and explained her technique. Lauren was very accommodating and did a great wash. One client loved the loc bob from Nakita, who provided an eye mask during the wash for a phenomenal shampoo nap. However, some visits had issues: a wet shirt after washing, a chatty stylist, and a very long appointment. Despite this, clients return for Nakita, who is described as wonderful, a gem when it comes to locs, with A1 hospitality. She detoxed locs and provided an awesome wash experience without getting the shirt wet. The owner seems friendly. Overall, Locs of Love is where it’s at for getting a loc game on.
Great experience! I came in for a wash and loc retwist, and my hair turned out amazing. My scalp felt clean and refreshed, and my locs were retwisted neatly without being too tight. I also needed a loc reattached, and Angel did it flawlessly—you can’t even tell the difference. Angel was professional, friendly, and paid great attention to detail. I left feeling confident and satisfied and will definitely be back!
I got my retwist on May 13th, it is now June 2nd, and it has stayed looking glowing and amazing. The parts are crisp, my hair felt lighter after getting a wash alone, but after the retwist my scalp felt reborn! I loved this and will be back! All the products purchased work as explained and are very lovely, moisture promoting, targeting itchy scalp (the almond oil is amazing for this it makes my scalp itch less!), and yes this is an amazing company. Everyone was so kind and the vibes were very high vibrational. 10/10 (sorry for the late review I forgot!) I loved this!
