I absolutely love Steinkopf and have been a customer for at least a decade. Beth and John are experts in regards to plants, trees & shrubs. I can bring in a leaf of plant in and they can tell me exactly what I need to do, fertilize, treat, water or do nothing bc the plant is fine. Brent had helped me so many times over the years and he is the sweetest person, so patient.... will take you out to wherever a tree may be and all over the property as you change your mind. If he doesn't know an answer to your question he will go find out for you. I prefer to have him help me because he is always so nice. We needed a large tree to replace the one we had taken down. Sean and Lynn were so helpful and walked us around the nursery to help us select just the right tree. We ended up adding a crab apple tree for our hill and could not be happier. Trees were 25% off! We stumbled upon this place one day (it's just North of 8 Mile on the West side of Farmington Road. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we are being charged extra for delivery as we are not within their 5 mile radius (we are probably within 10 miles). We wanted to plant a dogwood tree in honor of our beloved pup. After calling over a handful of nurseries only to hear they wouldn’t be carrying trees until mid-April or May, we were losing hope. We continued going down Google’s list, and once we got to Steinkopf, we were answered with a big, happy “we have all the tree!” We hopped in our car and rushed over. They were well worth the drive! Family owned, friendly, and informative! We never felt rushed even though we arrived near closing. They answered all our questions and helped us load our beautiful tree. So thankful for Steinkopf for bringing light and new life to our home as we say goodbye to our best bud ❤️
