GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Our family had a very upsetting experience with this company during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.
My mother-in-law passed away in the middle of the night while under hospice care. We were told we needed to choose a facility immediately for transport. Our plan was a simple cremation, but we also wanted the opportunity to see her one last time and ensure she was treated with dignity
When we contacted this company, we were told that “No one allows that,” which is completely untrue. Other funeral homes later confirmed that viewing prior to cremation is absolutely allowed. We have had several deaths in the family recently and Have viewed each of them.
We were also told we would be charged $500 just for the pick up. While we were willing to pay, the Situation became far more distressing when they refuse to release her without her estranged husband signature-Even though they’ve been separated for over 25 years.
The funeral home we ultimately chose even reached out to them around 3:30 PM because they had not followed through as expected. It felt like our loved one was being held until payment was made, which we paid immediately without hesitation.
We were also questioned about why we were choosing another cremation provider, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional given the circumstances. The funeral home we ended up working with has been in business for over 80 years and told us they have never encountered behavior like this.
During a time when compassion, professionalism, and respect are critical, this experience was the exact opposite. I would strongly urge others to carefully, consider their options and avoid this place.

I had no idea what to expect when I arrived to pick up my mom's ashes. I had to wait quite a while to acquire the money but that did not end being an issue at all. On the contrary, Tim was one of the most understanding human beings I have come across during the whole tragic experience of losing my mom. Not only did I feel relieved when I left, but I also felt like I made a friend. I am so pleased that they were the ones that took care of her and cannot imagine what this could have been like elsewhere. Thank you so much.

I lost my brother unexpectantly on January 12, 2026. It was important to have someone to help you in a time of need. Generations was there for my family and I. Very professional and helpful. The staff was always helpful especially Tim.

I lost my mother December 8th and called Generations for her cremation. The staff is kind, compassionate and very helpful. The prices are very reasonable. We felt welcomed as we picked up my mothers ashes. I did have questions after and Nicole was very helpful and sweet. Thank you for taking good care of my Mom. We appreciate you all!

Generations Funeral & Cremations handled my uncles remains a few years back and they made such a terrible time a little bit easier. They were quick and very responsive and handled him with such care. Which is why when my grandma passed a few days ago we choose to stick with Generations. They’re understanding and very caring. They’ve taken such great care of my grandma since they’ve had her and we can’t thank them enough.
