The staff is always rude and slow. If this was anything but a donation center I would never come here. Rude rude ladies. They listen to inappropriate music and you are always a hassle to them.

I was there to donate and the woman in the first room started getting upset at me when I asked for clarification about her question. I am not sure why a person at the red cross would be rude, but i decided to go to the Brighton location instead. I am voluntarily donating. Try being friendly.

I took my father to the American Red Cross on Haggerty Road, and the service was awful. Every staff member we dealt with was rude and hostile the entire time. Right from the counter, we got constant eye-rolling, loud sighs, crossed arms, short grunts instead of answers, scowls, and looks of pure annoyance—like we were wasting their time just by existing there.
It got much worse when my dad needed a translator because he’s Latino and speaks limited English. Their irritation ramped up: more dramatic eye-rolling, heavier sighs everyone could hear, muttered negative comments under their breath, long delays before even calling for help, one turning her back while waiting, finger-tapping on the counter, and the same cold, dismissive expressions the whole way through. The language part clearly set them off the most, and it made my dad feel humiliated. I was livid watching it.
No one showed any patience or basic decency. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I won’t go back, and I strongly recommend anyone—especially if translation might be needed—to avoid this location completely.

Donated blood here and would 100% go back! All of the staff were incredibly kind and nice and everything was very fast and easy 😁

Shaking hands with Hamas is counter to every ethical standard of the Red Cross.

Always had an excellent experience here. My latest platelet donation went well. The ladies were accommodating to my late arrival to my appointment. They made sure I was super comfortable once I was all set up and were all very sweet. The person who hooked me up to all the needles was gentle and I had no bruising afterwards! I can bruise easily from needle pokes especially if they are not done properly. So great job everyone. Thank you.

Today was my first time donating blood. All the staff were interchangeably helpful, working as a team. Thanks for everything!
