Place has character and fit my needs while I was in town. I met harry 30 years ago, and was able to meet him at his own gym. Though some of the equipment is older, i got what was needed. I will come back again next year for another week pass. Thanks to the staff.
I was in Escanaba for a month and needed to get some workouts in. Great Lakes Fitness far exceeded my expectations!!! Open 24 hours, a wide variety of free weights and machines, super clean facility, plenty of pre workout drinks/post workout protein shakes for sale at a great price!! Friendly staff and other lifters!! Best gym I have ever been to!!! I highly recommend!!!
This is easily the best gym in Escanaba, the owners are friendly, honest and wonderful people. From my on and off membership at the gym for the past couple of years I have been consistently impressed by the cleanliness, and quality of their machines. Everything from signing up, changing the activity of an account, and receiving help from the staff has been a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend Great Lakes Fitness enough!
