We needed a new septic drain field put in after our 30 year old drain field needed replacing. We asked around and two companies came up more than once. I had a conversation with both and decided on Sommer Solutions over in Ellsworth. Having never had a septic system I had many questions. Dylan, the owner of Sommer Solutions responded quickly and professionally to all of them. He said he’d try to work us in to his schedule as soon as possible. Fortunately for us he was able to do just that. He and his team worked LONG hours for two days straight. We were very impressed with how hard and quickly the team finished the job and cleaned up. We highly recommend Dylan and his company. If you have a job that needs to be done and done right Sommer Solutions is the right choice. If Dylan can work you into his busy schedule no matter your faith, you should feel blessed.
We had a great experience with this excavation team when we needed our damaged waterline repaired. We discovered the issue on Monday, reached out on Tuesday, and they were on-site and had everything fixed by the end of the day Thursday—which felt incredibly fast given the situation.

Dylan and his team are professional, skilled and friendly. I reached out to have Sommer Solutions estimate the cost for a new drain-field for my Moms property. He answered all of my questions, explained specifics for applying for the permit, and assessed my mom's specific needs for her very old drain-field. The job date was scheduled very soon after getting the permit and the drainfield was completed in one day. Keep in mind.. this was done in full blown winter. A lot of companies don't do drain fields during winter. His invoice was just what we expected with no surprise charges.
