The Loc Spot (Gratiot location) saved me today! After my appointment at another salon was canceled at the last minute (horrible timing), a friend told me this spot was both open on Mondays and accepted walk-ins. I checked them out on TikTok and decided to be there when they opened at noon.
When I walked in I was greeted by the owner, Liya, who explained how everything worked. She was extremely nice, helpful, and calmed me down ensuring I would be taken care of. I was!
12 minutes after opening, I was at a wash bowl. 10/10 experience. Expectations exceeded.

The absolute best! My son use to always get his dreads done and he would ask them to lay them towards his face because he was shy and didn't like his forehead..took him here and they styled him different. He came out sooooooo prideful and happy with his results. I could have cried! My forever place from now on! He got his hair washed and retwisted
