Autotech of East Tawas

Mark has continually helped us out...does great work...and is fair.
Most recently I asked him to do whatever is necessary for my granddaughters car, rear brakes, including rotors, calipers and whatever he thought.
He replaced rotors, cleaned up the calipers (like new) and said she needs to drive more. It was a minimal bill...and I thank him for her/our safety. Very fair guy! This is a great shop!

My truck was dead in the water Thursday morning, and I had it towed to Auto Tech of East Tawas. It got there around 11am, and I was told it was going to be next in line around 2pm. At 4:30pm, I had asked for an update and it wasn't touched yet. Unfortunately, I had to book another night at a hotel; which is understandable as it could have been a larger problem. The next morning, around 10am, with no updates yet from the shop, I called up and was told that it may be a transmission issue. After walking to the shop, I was told that they tried to drive it, but it didn't move. Which is why I had it towed in the first place. They didn't scan or actually bring it in to properly diagnose the issue.

They then decided to close early on Friday due to illness, but I feel if I didn't call and get an update, my keys would've been held in the shop over the weekend.

We may have caught them on a bad week, but the communication was the main issue. They repeatedly assured me that they could get my truck in same day. Instead of staying another night, I could have figured something else out instead of being strung along until the weekend, when they'd be closed.

I stopped in at Autotech of East Tawas for something lodged between the tire and the rim of my wheel. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name but i believe he was the owner, but he immediately went to my vehicle to inspect what i was talking about. After trying to remove it there in the lot, no questions asked he took my vehicle into the shop to better assess the situation. Within 10 minutes of arriving, he removed my tire and removed the object quickly. Because of the simple “repair” he said i was good to go and I didnt owe anything because it was not more than a $10 service. I paid him anyways because of his quick action to help me out. He was very personable and helpful which i greatly appreciate. I would definitely recommend them to anyone living in town or just visiting. Thank you Autotech of East Tawas! You turned around a stressful, sudden issue, into an easy and stress free fix.

Got me in and out fast and did a good job. Did me a favor and installed an O2 sensor I had already bought that was needing to be replaced that was part of what had to come out.

I am from out of town staying for the week. My check engine light came on so I researched places with good reviews. They did not disappoint. Fast, friendly and fair pricing with no pressure service. I wish I had this place in my hometown

I dropped my vehicle off for a complete brake job. I received a call and I was told by Marc that everything was fine and that he found nothing that needed to be replaced at this time. I picked up my car later that morning and was charged nothing for their work. What I received was an honest opinion from a qualified mechanic and was not charged for
their inspection. In this day and age I feel that some shops might of gone ahead and made the repairs and charged me for something that did not need to be done. The honesty and service that I received from Auto Tech of East Tawas is commendable. Honesty and good service is going to serve this business well. Thank you.

Fast and friendly with reasonable pricing.

I sold a Cadillac Allante part to some guys that drove all the way from Denver, Colorado. They broke down in their old Allante 2 miles from Tawas. They called 10 different repair facilities and Mark from auto tech took them in immediately and got them back on the road. The guys then drove straight thru all the way to Denver!

They were very pleased with Mark, and with the ridiculously low price that they were charged. I highly recommend Mark and auto tech as a very caring and professional repair facility in Tawas city. Thank you, Mark. I owe you a drink lol

Absolute studs working here. Got my car working in and out within the day after the caliper blew up. No bs going on here. Great People

Good people,great work and very fair price!
They fixed the cobbled mess that previously done on my truck!
Looked at issues at no cost of existing things I need fixed later!
They tried there hardest to try and learn the cheap tpms sensors i bought from Amazon, cheap parts are not the answer!
