I am yelping local dog kennels because, for the first time, I will not be able to use our favorite kennel - Howl-A-Day Inn - (because of their temporary limited availability). We have taken both of our dogs here for nearly 10 years and without incident! Our dogs, we love them so extremely dearly, but they were not well-behaved or well-trained for most of their kennel stays. Yet the folks at Howl-a-Day have never, ever complained. One of our good boys has made it into his senior years and one, unfortunately, has not. Our senior boy is well cared for and always showered with affection by the employees of this kennel. Our dearly departed good boy was well cared for even when we had to kennel him while sick and on a laundry list of medication. I really do trust my precious pups with this company. We can travel with absolute peace of mind given our positive experiences with Howl-a-Day. I can't thank them enough for caring the way that they do. I call this place Summer Camp for the dogs! They come home happy and absolutely exhausted.
*Update! Not even a year later June 2025, we invited Vince and his crew back out to border the retaining walls he built with stone. Once again, they went above and beyond. Not one stone was out of place, or left in the lawn, the job is perfect and exactly what we hoped for. The crew's careful attention to detail is exceptional. We are thrilled with the job and already planning our next move after our deck is built. We feel so blessed that we met Vince. After some not so great experiences with contractors building our home, Vince is a breath of fresh air and someone we can count on and trust. Thank you once again Vince, our stone work looks absolutely beautiful. I added some photos of the stunning walls and stone beds too.
In the summer of 2024, our family moved into a new construction home with quite a number of drainage issues. We had no final grade and large hills of dirt that were sliding down toward our walkout basement. Water was pooling everywhere up against our home. It was a complete mess and we were very concerned.
I made a post and asked if anyone knew of someone who could help.
Vince reached out to me and offered to come over and quote the job. He arrived that day and listened to our concerns and ideas. He offered his ideas as well, and together we turned it into something perfect.
We had a quote the next day.
The job was a big one. We had 2 very large retaining walls installed, landscape stone laid, a tree planted, and all of our downspouts buried and rerouted across our property to lead water away from our home. Vince and his crew also gave us a final grade and blew grass seed onto about an acre and a half of our property.
The end result is amazing and beautiful. We are so happy with all of the work completed. We are even more happy with the process.
Vince and his crew worked at our home for almost a month. Vince's prices were more than fair and he was completely up front with us about any changes in cost as we moved through the project. He has an eye for detail and he showed up daily to either work along side his crew or check their progress and work completed. It was extremely obvious that he cares a great deal about making sure the job was completed at a high standard.
His crew are some of the hardest working guys we have had the pleasure of doing business with. Vince and every one of his crew members were so friendly, we ended up knowing them all by name and even getting to know them a bit. We enjoyed having them there while they were working.
In conclusion, from our experience, I HIGHLY recommend Vince, The Brick Paver Dr, for any landscaping needs. He is fair, honest, friendly, and cares a tremendous amount about ensuring his customers are happy with the end result. Vince goes over and above to be sure.
