Sharkey’s Hair It Is offers a variety of hair services for the whole family. They provide haircuts with a wash, cut, and style for all ages. Kids’ haircuts also include a lollipop, balloon, and donation token to a charity. Children can choose to have their fingernails painted with a matching ring or get a shark tattoo. The salon features themed car chairs, an Xbox on a 40” TV, and a glamour area with bright lights and mirrors for kids and kids-at-heart. Customers praise the stylists for their kindness, patience, and ability to work well with children, especially those with sensory sensitivities. Many appreciate the fun and welcoming atmosphere, which makes getting a haircut a positive experience. Hosea, the stylist, is known for his incredible patience and child-centered approach, making even the fussiest toddlers feel comfortable and happy.
We brought our 18-month-old here for a haircut last month, and Lauren B. did an amazing job! He’s had a few haircuts before, but other places have been either kid-friendly OR able to give a good cut — this place does both. It’s truly the best haircut he’s had, and he looked absolutely adorable afterward. The staff were so patient and kind with my energetic toddler, and their products smell wonderful. We’ll definitely be making this our go-to spot from now on.

In 60-90 minutes she washed, detangled and styled his hair. For those of you with kids, you know that’s crazy fast.
The best part he watched the movie “Cars” while sitting in a “Cars” replicate seat. Did mention he’s a fan of the movie? He wears shoes with Lighting McQueen on them.
They offer a lot of value for the money. It’s only $10 for wash and detangle maintenance. We are scheduled for biweekly appointments from this day forward.

Lovely! Drove across town for a more kid-friendly experience in hopes of helping my toddler to be less scared of a haircut and the ladies here did an excellent job helping her feel comfortable. She still cried at first but that’s her personality presently- they gave her a balloon, a sucker, helped her sit in the car with her stuffie, and didn’t fuss with a hair cape just so she could relax while watching a show. She got an adorable and FAST haircut, can’t wait to see it grow out now that it’s been layered a bit to help her curls. We’ll totally come back! Thanks Netty!
