Horrible experience. Got caught in traffic and called to tell them I would be late for my hair cut. They said that was fine and thwy would just do a dry cut. I arrive for my appt and they say we'll we don't have time and you have to pay a 30 dollar missed appt fee. The look on my face said it all. She said let me see if someone else can cut it. She comes back and says someone else is willing to cut my hair but I have to pay the 30 first and then the haircut price as well. Needless to say, I won't be back.

The environment was nice and service was friendly. My only gripe is that the haircut was not worth the $60 I was charged. I got a straight-across chop as a reset from a bad haircut (from a different salon) and when I got home, I found several sections of hair that were significantly longer than the rest. I was able to fix it myself and if the price had been lower I wouldn’t think twice about it, but I paid a midrange salon price for a $20 haircut result.
Edit after salon response: I just didn’t want to go through the hassle of coming in and sitting down just for something that I could do at home in just a few minutes. If it had been something I couldn’t fix at home, sure, I would’ve called in and had it fixed in the salon. Additionally, it wasn’t something I noticed while at the salon, it became apparent after washing my hair at home. This is why it’s 3/5 stars and not 0/5 stars - no egregious errors were made, I just thought that the cost was too high for the end result.

Lindsey (owner of the salon) is absolutely amazing. I have been coming to her to get my hair done for 10 years now and I will follow her to the ends of the earth. She has walked with me through so many different phases of my hair and is always so attentive to what I am looking for. She makes fabulous suggestions and is gentle when doing my hair. I can't say enough good things about her.

Terrible Service Felt uncomfortable told me they would be able to do my hair drove all the way from Detroit hour and 40 minutes just for them not to be able to do my hair. Terrible service terrible people. This place needs to be removed. This is a terrible place. terrible do not go to.

Elizabeth braided my hair and did a nice job. She didn't make me feel awkward for being a guy and is going to braid my hair regularly! Thanks!I've been getting my hair braided each week for over a year, and this place is still the best.
