The owner, who came from Senegal, West Africa, provides great service. Many customers were very well pleased with their look and coverage, and most definitely will be returning.
Very good experience overall… getting a lot of compliments on my hair. I got small knotless box braids and I was done in about 4hrs. At one point, three ladies were pitching in and all the braids are very consistent as if done by one person.
I’ll definitely be returning.
The only recommendation would be to post the prices…. I called and got one price, then it changed a bit… and I always bring my own hair. So having clear and predictable pricing would be beneficial.
The ladies at this shop are amazing. Very professional and kind. I have been to many african shop throughout the city, this is by far the best. It's very clean in there, and they dress nice. They will triple team your head and get you out of there. Even tho I was getting a retwist with only 1 stylist, I watched the triple team a few heads. 1 lady did a young boy(about 10) locs. When she was done she walked him out to the car. I thought that very nice if her and she was pregnant. My earring fell out..I told them it was ok ill get another 1..they searched for it and found it..they are just some very nice ladies. I’ve been to this African braiding shop three different times for knotless braids—small, medium, and another small set—and every single visit has been a great experience. The team is incredibly professional, polite, and welcoming. They work efficiently without sacrificing quality; I’m usually in and out within about 3½ to 4 hours, which is amazing for braids this neat and detailed.
