The shop has recently been remodeled and looks great. The stylists work quickly and efficiently, often with two people on your hair to ensure a good experience. Prices are fair, and the braids last well, with a tight but desirable finish. Overall, it’s a trusted spot for quality braiding services.
I love my waist-length knotless braids—they came out beautiful! ✨ But being asked for payment before the job was finished was unreasonable. Every seat was filled with about 10 people getting braided at once—some with two braiders, others with only one—and no one who walked in was turned away. The result was too much waiting, with constant breaks for food, coffee, and chatting, making the process drag on much longer than it should have. Many people grew frustrated and left without getting serviced. The work itself is gorgeous, but the professionalism and time management definitely need improvement.
These beautiful ladies never miss!! I hadn't been in a few years. Not only did they remember me but welcomed me back with open arms. I truly appreciate their warm reception and of course,as always my hair looks absolutely beautiful!!
I used to come to Mama’s back in my high school days when zillions were a thing! Came back recently to get knotless boho and knotless braids another time! I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences each time! I’ve always had two ladies working on my hair and they always start on me right away, no matter what time I come in. They recently remodeled the shop and it looks amazing! I’m charged the price I’m quoted and the braids last! Of course it will be tight for a few days, but that’s what you want!
