Grand Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum

I went to grand lawn cemetery today10/27/2025 And I couldn’t have asked for better people than what we’re working there today. They went above and beyond helping me find my grandparents graves even cleaning them off for me. Thank you, Ashley and thank you Lou. I sure do appreciate you both!

Ashley Treadway has gone out of her way to help me on two different visits. First time Ashlie was literally heading out the door, turned around to look up like 8 relatives. So thankful !!

Grandlawn employees was very professional during our entire burial process. Ashlie Treadway (Family Service Counselor) was phenomenal she was right there with us through the whole process. Ashlie remembered things we forgot, she advised us when needed to make the process bearable for our loved one. Thank you Ashlie for being so caring, patient, and understanding.

Every time I have gone to the office, I have been treated with respect.

My uncle was buried in 2022 we paid for a headstone and have called them drove down and visited them multiple times over the last two and a half years and we still don’t have it. The headstone has been done where they made it. But for some reason it hasn’t been picked up or installed. The people we worked with Ike no longer works there we also talked to porsha ,Jane ,Sarah and others they all say they forwarded to managers or I have been left on hold 2 weeks ago they told me it would be another 12 weeks I just want it done it’s hard enough losing family let alone this

Visited my husband’s and son’s graves on 7-10-25. Very disappointed to see that the pond at the entrance was absolutely filthy. To look at it made me ill. Shame on the owners for not properly maintaining this area. Also the fences are in disrepair. This is totally unacceptable!!
Please correct these issues.

Years ago Grand lawn Cemetery was in need of desperate help! When this company hired Isaac at Grand lawn Cemetery they hired the Best of the Best! Isaac is always diligent in helping families during these difficult times. He goes above and beyond and shows compassion for families.

I wanted to express my gratitude to Ike at Grandlawn Cemetery. I recently lost my mom and during the most difficult time of my life Ike has been so empathetic to my family and I. Ike helped me find someone to release white doves at the cemetery the day of the funeral. Ike has went above and beyond to assist my family and I. He throughly explained everything to us and answered every question as well as giving kind words and encouragement which was deeply appreciated. Whenever my family and I had a question or a problem Ike didn’t stop until he got us an answer or rectified the situation. Grandlawn cemetery is our family cemetery and because of Ike professionalism and exceptional customer service I will gladly recommend Grandlawn to anyone!

I stopped by Grand Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, August 10, 2024 and I was greeted by Alicia Porter, who was the most gracious and kind person I’ve met while searching for family members buried in the Detroit area. Alicia even took the time to drive out to the section of the cemetery where my cousins are buried, and helped me get to the lot and locate the graves within minutes. I’ve spent hours searching at other cemetery’s grounds for family members because the sections are so large, and the lots are not marked as clearly as they could be. My experience at Grand Lawn Cemetery was a vast improvement from my experience at Mt. Olivet or Mt. Elliott. Huge thanks to Alicia for your kindness and willingness to go the extra mile.

My mother has been gone for over 5 years i paid for everything INCLUDING a headstone that she has not recieved and they keep blaiming it in the person that use to work there yet a headstone still has not been placed as i watch every grave around her get one
