Soooo I am cancer survivor and for those who don’t know, chemo changes your hair. With that said, I lost all my hair. So my hair journey started under my own care and I was able to grow it back. I then decided to enter back into the care of a stylist who then damaged hair from using too much heat. Fast forward, I began to take care my damaged hair and failed. My hair was constantly shedding and matted after conditioning. One day I was unable to untangle my hair and I lost it. Three years of growing my hair to my shoulders blades was over. This incident happened on a Wednesday afternoon, so you know it would be a miracle to find someone to save my hair. Beauti Kafe popped in my mind because it was close to my job so I drove there as fast as I could. As I walked in I was greeted with the warmest smile from the owner who gave me the sense that everything would be ok. She told me that Pam may be available to assist me. Pam walks out and walked towards me and I broke down crying telling her my recovery story. Pam comforted me and told me she would help me. Ladies when I tell you I felt like God sent me to one of his angels to restore my hair, He did it!!! Pam was gentle, reassuring, hospitable, efficient and extremely talented!!! Pam is the hair savior!!! I love her to life and thank God for blessing those hands!!! 🙌 if you need a new salon of peace, tranquility, style and grace Pam and Beauti Kafe is the place!!!

Highly recommend Colleen. Trust her with my hair and the girls. Her silk presses and cuts are top tier. Prices are reasonable. The salon is clean and well controlled.

Beauti Kafe Salon was referred to me by a close family friend years ago when the salon was in Ferndale. Colleen’s professionalism, business acumen, and her overall skill set is unmatched. If you want peace in a relaxed high end spa environment, Beauti Kafe and Colleen is the combination you need. My hair is healthy, and looks amazing each time I go.

I started seeing Colleen around the Xmas holiday. The first impression I will say was very professional and polite . I must admit that I was a very satisfied customer and also referred my daughter to her as well. Colleen took good care of my hair, her timeliness was amazing and I was a very pleased customer all around. Her salon is A1 as far as cleanliness and organization. Previously, when I was unable to book an appointment for a specific date due to what my daughter and I thought were glitches in her system because sometimes we would attempt to book online and there would be no availability on our end but then there would be availability on her end, Colleen would work extremely hard to get me and my daughter an appointment as close as she could or sometimes even contact me to let me know when there was an availability for the dates we needed and/or even squeeze us in which will never go unnoticed. Because of her being so kind at that time, sometimes if she had to finish up late and it was getting dark, upon her request for her safety, I would extend my help and wait for her to clean and tidy up her salon so that we could walk out together while she closed her shop. Well to explain why I gave Colleen two stars is because just recently I tried to schedule an appointment for myself and daughter and that went left. I attempted to get a certain day as I have done in the past and it was unsuccessful. I attempted to called her to try to see if I could set myself and daughter for some appointments that would work for us but apparently she was busy. Then I tried to set up two appts. for two 15 minute services which allowed us to make the appts. for the date that we needed, but instead of Colleen calling me back when she became available for us to discuss what our options were, she cancelled those appointments. I was able to schedule one appt. for a date but discovered that I would not be able to make that appt. Strangely, Colleen felt like no conversation needed to be had because that appt was confirmed via email. But what she failed to understand was that I couldn’t make that appt. It was why I felt a verbal conversation needed to be had and I honestly didn’t think it would cause any trouble since I’ve done this previously. However, Colleen took on an offensive attitude by my contacting her via phone. While I was expecting her to call me back , I felt like there was something more going on with Colleen especially after she told me via text message that there was no need for any further conversation and that everything was clear and transparent. Colleen was very dismissive of my concerns. After attempting to try to find out why her personality suddenly changed on me for the worst, Colleen just refused to engage and checked me about calling her over the phone on a Sunday @ 9:14 am precisely, then in the end she blocked me on social media 😳……. Sorry for the long review but between myself and my daughter , we spent a lot of our money patronizing this business.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience was wonderful from start to finish. Amiyah who washed my hair was so sweet and precious!!!! it felt like such a breath of fresh air being there. My stylist (Colleen) was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and made sure all my needs were met. I felt truly cared for, and the service was high quality. I’ll absolutely be a returning client. If I could give them 100 stars I would!

Today I visited Beauti Kafe. My hair is natural. Colleen exceeded my expectations. I had a flat twist. My hair was soft and curly. I ask her to color my gray around the front of my head and it came wonderfully. I believe I finally found my hair stylist.

I’ve been a client of Colleen’s for over five years and she has always treated my hair with care and is the only person I let color my hair. She is a true professional who loves healthy hair. Colleen is a stylist who is also a lifelong student who consistently learns new ways to elevate her skills for the betterment of her clients. Her shop is absolutely beautiful and customer service has always been incredible (timely, ask questions about your hair, thorough hair washing, extremely clean, etc.). You will not be disappointed!
