One of my favorite tailor shops! I always take my suits that I purchase from K&G, and anything that I need mending. They're not the cheapest, but what's cheap, isn't always good! I found their work to usually be impeccable! I have only had 1 odd problem, which I recommend people mention is, remind them to retain your back belt loop(s) when getting your pants taken in. Sometimes they do, sometimes they forget them. Other than that, I haven't had any issues with their work! Highly Recommended.
I had Westborn on Monroe attempt to remove a spot from a silk blouse. The first time I wore it I got a very noticeable stain on the sleeve. I was in my back yard under a tree, and I think I got bombed by a bird who had been eating purple berries. The person I dealt with at Westborn (sorry, I don't know your name) tried many different techniques and products to get the spot out, but nothing worked. It was ruined. The gentleman was very apologetic, and even insisted on replacing the blouse. It wasn't his fault that the garment was ruined; I was the one tempting fate under the tree. I told him I'd think about it. I have, and I'm not going to let him pay for a new one. The kicker: the gentleman wouldn't even take my money for all of the hard work he put into it. That's what I call great customer service. Thank you!
