I was delighted with the expertise, professionalism and skills of this company. At our first meeting, without trying to sell me anything, I received very helpful information about plantings that weren't even part of the proposal. Their tree trimming was excellent- using people who actually climb into the trees for more careful pruning and far less damage to surrounding areas. In summer of 2025 the Alan Tree Service crew trimmed back 2 old cedars in my backyard. Wayne & Justin did a great job. They took direction from me, took their time, did a great job, and hauled away all the branches and twigs.
I called them back in July of 2026 to trim a witch hazel tree in my backyard. They were very patient with an amateur gardener who is very picky about his trees and shrubs. They knew I was nervous about my witch hazel tree getting more of a trim than it needed. Again they were very patient and kind and skilled with what they did and threw in a little humor and small talk along the way.

Mr. Martin came for an estimate and review of the project. Ed came across as a no nonsense, straightforward, knowledgeable, person. No arrogance. No sales pitch. I knew exactly what I wanted and Mr. Martin’s crew delivered.
I needed five trees and several large shrubs removed. Several trees were intertwined with the fence. The crew of J.R. and Dwayne arrived early morning and straight to work. They worked old school, tree climbing, removal. The talent, caution, safety, and teamwork, was fascinating to watch. They worked with patience and respect.
