The Dance Scene has been serving the Metro Detroit area for over 45 years, offering private, group lessons, and practice dance parties. With a large dance floor, lights, and an overall exciting atmosphere, the studio provides a fun and easy learning experience for dancers of all levels. The instructors are known for their knowledgeable and approachable teaching styles, helping students feel comfortable and progress quickly. Anna is a wonderful, kind, and patient teacher who makes you feel so comfortable. She excels at teaching a good pace and is amazing at quickly teaching the basics, dips, and spins for a wedding dance. The studio itself is warm and welcoming. The studio hosts great Saturday night parties with a mix of music styles, where the welcoming crowd is accepting of beginners. Conveniently located with plenty of free parking, the Dance Scene is described as a hidden gem, offering superior training and dance instruction, from wedding dances to social and competitive routines, at an affordable cost.

These guys are truly the best. We had the pleasure of working with Anna & Jerimiah over the last couple of months while we practiced our wedding dance.
Personally, I have always disliked dancing; I am about as fluid as a tree trunk, but I never felt any pressure with these guys. Truly S-tier teachers: it's only ever encouragement, practice, and great instruction. There was never one moment when I felt out of place here.
I would truly recommend this studio to anyone. We did private lessons, a bundle of 3 sessions, for what I thought was a very reasonable price. I know they also do weekly group sessions as well; we'll definitely be back in for a date night sometime!
My partner and I have been dancing here for a year, and it’s truly been wonderful. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and so fun to work with. We’ve learned so much since we started and it’s our favorite part of the week. I can’t recommend this dance studio enough!!
