I highly recommend Pete from the Drain Doctor. I called him on a Sunday and he was at my house in an hour. So I called Pete at Drain Doctor to help me with a broken tub faucet diverter. Before calling him, I had Mr. Rooter come out, and they tried to charge me $1,500, saying the only fix was replacing everything. That sounded like a scam, so I told them to kick rocks.
When I called Pete, I was thrown off by the $250 service call fee, so I asked him straight up, “Why so much damn money?” He explained it really well—his service call includes an hour of labor, which actually made sense. So I said, “Screw it, come on out.”
