So I called Pete at Drain Doctor to help me with a broken tub faucet diverter. Before calling him, I had Mr. Rooter come out, and they tried to charge me $1,500, saying the only fix was replacing everything. That sounded like a scam, so I told them to kick rocks.
When I called Pete, I was thrown off by the $250 service call fee, so I asked him straight up, “Why so much damn money?” He explained it really well—his service call includes an hour of labor, which actually made sense. So I said, “Screw it, come on out.”

I have a rental property in Big Rapids and am highly dependent on good repair people when I’m not in town. Pete assessed a leak on his own time so I could determine what was needed and then followed through on getting it fixed! I would not hesitate to call him again for any repair and recommend you do too!!Services: Faucet installation
Pete fixed a number of problems for me, a recent purchaser of a 1957 house which needed some upgrades -- fixed a leak near my meter, installed a water line to my refrigerator, replaced the original rusty-legged, leaky concrete basement sink, and removed a low-hanging pipe which I assume was for a water softener back in the day. Everything was done professionally, and he charged me the cost he quoted me, which was more than reasonable. He will be my first call for any other issues.Service: Tap installation
