Crystal Lake Clinic

As an out-of-towner with a lure stuck in her leg, I was incredibly impressed with the service and care the Crystal Lake Clinic provided. All of the front receptionists were so kind and friendly, and they were able to get me seen within 30 minutes of my arrival. Note, this was NOT an urgent care facility. This was a family medicine practice, yet they treated my injury with urgency and compassion. Dr. James was so kind and as gentle as he could be. I had a micro treble stuck in my leg, making it a small and tricky hook to deal with. I have went to this clinic 20+ years. I have never had issues with any of the staff or the providers. Yes they have issues with staffing and turnover but if you have never worked in the medical field you won’t understand the way we as medical staff are treated daily by some patients. I have been a medical assistant for 20 years and everyday it’s a fight to want to go to work and help some of the people because they are rude and entitled. So when these actions happen make it hard to reflect kindness back.

Have always been able to get in at short notice, have enjoyed working with Denielle and the rest of the staff have been friendly and helpful. The drop-in lab is also convenient. I appreciate having this facility so close to home!
