No I have been going there for years they use to be good!! The last few years they have been terrible in it for the money and they must get a kick back when they send people to the emergency vet because they tell you all the time they can't get you in for a week when your animal is sick now !! I took my cat in in September well it started in July I took him in because he was sick and after 800.00 in test they still didn't know what was wrong anyway after 2 months and another thousand dollars my cat died and then the other day I called because my dog was very sick and in pain we needed to have him put down so I called them and was put on hold for 10 minutes and I hung up and called back and when they answered they wanted to put me on hold again and I said no and told them how bad my dog was and I needed to have him put down and they put me on hold again and then came back and said sure we can get him in next week I said are you kidding me!!! He is in pain and suffering anyway they don't care I hung up on them and called a different vet and they had me come right inso if you love your pet don't ever take them to Vet med because they don't care they are in it for the money only!!!

Absolutely the most unorganized vet ive ever been too! Dog broke her leg and 1000 dollars later they send her home in a splint then try and send us to Ann Arbor and two weeks later called, lost her blood work, and wanted to schedule a surgery! Needless to say she was already fixed and on the mend by a real vet!

Just terrible!! Charging someone for a Wellness check when the kitty is there to be put down really? Shame on you!! You need to refund and apologize

Our ten year old lab wast so sick. We went to several different veterinary clinics with no results. It was looking like we may have to put him down. Then someone recommended Bay VetMED! They did an amazing job with our boy. They found the problem and did the surgery. We are blessed to still have him with us. We have continued to go here with all of our other pets now as well. Nothing less the exceptional care. Thank you VetMED!

I have a 6 year old boxer who we adopted at 3 years old. He has always seen vet med doctors. My dog had a Mast Cell Tumor and I could not get in to see a vet for 3 weeks, mind you he has always been a patient there as long as we have had him. Well his tumor broke open we had blood everywhere, we tried to bandage it but it was on the reverse side of his knee so the bandage didn’t stay put. I called them a couple time and they couldn’t get him in sooner, the dr said to keep him in a crate or in a single room to contain the blood mess. Mind you when his appointment finally came up he was a drop off, which meant they will look at him but surgery wouldn’t happen today. Had I known that I would have had it done somewhere else but I thought it was happening on his appointment day. They never explained to me what drop off was till I got there. Drop off is they look at the pet when they get time and schedule another date for surgery. They asked me if I knew what drop off was and I said yeah I’m dropping him off your doing the surgery and I will pick him back up. That’s when drop off was explained to me. Needless to say they never have the same doctors there. I will never take any of my pets there again.

We've been clients at VetMed for 7.5 years with our dog. Every appointment seemed like there was a different set of vets there. Recently, our dog had a hematoma of the ear. Long story short, in 2 visits we spent $900+ and the problem came back the third day. When contacted about our dissatisfaction, they basically said we told you so. We took him to another vet, Bay Valley, and they gave us a steroid pill to use for a month and cleaned his ears. The cost... $156. We haven't gotten to a full week with the pill and our dog's hematoma is pretty much gone. Moral of the story, VetMed is a waste of money and they only suggest the most expensive way, which didn't even work. They never mentioned the steroid pill that obviously has worked. If we would have stayed with VetMed, our next step was a $1,200+ surgery. I'll take $156 over $1,200+ any day! Save yourself wasted time and money and don't take your precious fur child(ren) here.

I can not express how great of care these people take with your pet. My dog was hit by a car and they saved her life. Thank you again.
