“Having been a patient at Mhni for several years I feel it is time to give them the applause they deserve. I was a passenger in a car accident in 1976, unconscious 24 days with a closed head injury. I had traveled all over the country trying to find relief from my horrendous migraines and atypical seizures. I had visited Harper Grace Hospital in Detroit, U of M hospital in Ann Arbor, The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. None of the aforementioned places could unravel my issues. I heard a professional from MHNI speak at a head pain symposium and knew immediately that I needed to go there. An appointment was obtained shortly there after and I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise of all of the doctors and nurses employed by the Clinic. No one was more attentive, caring and concerned than Dr. Joel Saper and nurse Holly. Holly bent over backwards to make you feel comfortable and showed more care and compassion then any nurse I've ever met while maintaining professionalism. She outshined any nurse with whom I had contact with even at the above mentioned facilities. We too often neglect to laud praise where it is deserved so after an appointment at MHNI today, I felt it pertinent that I write this today. Thank you so very much DR. SAPER and HOLLY!”
