I have really thick wavy/curly hair that’s kind of hard to manage and have left many a salon with an ugly pyramid shape on my head ? So, as you can imagine, I was hesitant to try a new salon out. Turns out, this is the perfect place! I’ve had my hair cut by both McKenzie and Becky, and I’ve never in my life liked so much the way it’s turned out. They’re magicians, honestly. Thank you so, so much for helping me appreciate my textured hair ?

Stephanie is wonderful! She is very good at what she does and is lovely to talk to. Great at communicating what the vision is, checking in through the process about the small details and she has the skill to execute it. Highly recommend.

I have so much haircut anxiety and am so grateful to have found Grace at Douglas J. She helped me find a style that works with my hair texture and density and showed me how to style it. She's fabulous! Every time I see her I walk out of the salon feeling like I'm on top of the world.
