I've been coming here since I bought a home in the area over three years ago. Mark cut my hair once, but I generally rely on Peggy. Reliable, good, functional haircuts at a fair price. Both Peggy and Mark consistently give me what I ask for, a rarity in barbers these days. Friendly. If you're looking for a fancy stylist, with all due respect, why are you in Alpena? I love Alpena and love Roy's. Call ahead for a reservation.

Roy’s Barber Shop exceeded all my expectations! My husband had mentioned Roy’s for our son’s first haircut, so when we had some free time, I gave them a call. Mark had an opening right away, and despite my hesitation about taking our not-even-two-year-old in before he had a chance to blow off some steam at open gym, we decided to go for it. I fully expected to walk out with no haircut or even half a haircut because toddlers are...well, toddlers.

Can't thank Peggy enough. Needed a last minute haircut for my son and even though she had a full day she was nice enough to squeeze him in and gave him a wonderful cut. We will deffinately be back
