I have struggled for a few years with my teeth completely giving gout and failing me. I have been to numerous dentist and surgeons to find out options and get work done and through this process I have been discouraged, left feeling hopeless and like I had no options to the point I just gave up and accepted my broken smile, I am young and hated the thought of dentures but was only ever given that option until I went and saw De.Dema and her team. I could not take the pain from infection and the seriousness of it and decided to just go and it has been the best decision I have mad in my dental journey. Doc came in asking me what I wanted and what I needed, and she listened to what I had to say, my fears, my concerns, things other doctors have told me, options and treatment plans that have been suggested she shared in my excitement talking about one day being able to smile and eat my favorite foods again. She got right to work looking at things and forms a plan of action none have ever offered to me, one I loved and am comfortable with, one that is financially possible for my family and for me physically to be comfortable. Today I had my first of many appointments for extractions and I am a very nervous patient when it comes to all of this, everyone was so great and Doc keep my comfort at the fore front of everything while still getting important work done to take care of my health. I have had over 10 extractions in my mouth and today was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I am so grateful for such a great doctor and team to help me on the journey, I have waited so long for this and I feel like I found my perfect fit here at Allen Park Dentistry.
