Brought my kittens here after spay surgery because their wounds were looking not so great. Dr. Brion was amazing. Yes, we had to wait a long time, but they have a triage system where more emergent patients are taken first. I didn’t mind waiting as my babies were well taken care of in the end. Definitely recommend this hospital.
we had to bring in my cat that was in serious condition. they brought her back immediately and kept us updated with everything they were thinking and doing. we ultimately had to have her put to sleep and they gave us time with her beforehand and let me hold her while they administered the drugs. they didn’t try to rush us out at all and the staff was very kind and empathetic towards us the entire time. they also gave us a small bottle with her fur and a clay paw print free of charge. they made a very traumatic situation a little bit easier for us.
The team at Midcoast Animal Emergency went above and beyond for my dog and for me. My 5yo Bernese got spooked overnight and tried to chew her way out of the same metal crate she had slept in without incident for the past several years.
