We needed a sewage cleanup on a dirt basement. One of the pipes broke. This company said they could NOT provide an estimated quote beforehand, but we went ahead with their service anyway. This was our first mistake. Long story short, they were there for several hours going in and out of the basement, disseminating lime, then left. We had someone observing the technicians the whole time. The invoice claimed they were there for 16.5 hrs, that the technicians DUG UP the dirtied soil and disposed of it. None of this was true. Two folks from Penobscot came to clean our carpets throughout the house and to clean upholstery at the same time. We are incredibly happy with the result - the carpets, which hadn't been professionally cleaned in years (if ever!) look, I'm not kidding, like new. What a difference. Plus there was a stain that had been there for ages - now gone. Very pleased with result.

They call themselves a "24-hour emergency service" but you won't see them until days after your emergency call. Then when they finally show up they won't actually clean, they'll just spend all day producing an estimate. In my case they didn't smell mold in the air they smelled a fat insurance check & wanted to pad it as much as possible. If you need honest help fast, I suggest looking elsewhere.
