I had a great experience at 4 Gen Barbershop. JK did an excellent job with my haircut and beard lineup. He paid attention to the details, made sure everything was clean and even, and the final result looked great. Excellent environment, professional work, and I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend JK and the team at 4 Gen!

After a questionable experience with a trainee taking forever to do a simple cut and doing something I specifically asked not to do, and then overcharging for a senior cut, I was disappointed that I could not take advantage of their convenient location. When the owner kindly responded to my review on the horrible booking app saying that he would cut my hair and noting his vast experience, I decided to give it a second chance. I made an appointment with Mike, the owner. However, the day before this appointment I got a message indicating that I had been changed to the original trainee. Now, I'm stuck, disappointed that this business and the associated app cannot meet my needs.
**** Thank you, Mike, for your kind response. I do still need a cut, and I even tried to reschedule to give Cliff another chance. He seems like a nice kid and maybe we could make it work. However, I got cancellations every time I tried to schedule. App issue? Management while the boss is away issue? Not a great sign. I'll see what next week brings and if I'm feeling better about making another attemp. Your place is nice and right on my way to a couple other places I go in Sanford, so I would like to make it work.

Normally my go to barber shop locally when I need a haircut. The other day I brought in my nephew who’s 4 for his haircut and Jay was incredibly good with him. I don’t think anyone could be more friendly and interactive with a young kid. He went above and beyond he had him laughing and smiling the entire time. Seeing it made me happy and the haircut came out amazing.

Our son goes to get his hair trimmed very nice guy that does Lucas hair and Im pleased my son actually was chatting with him and that's rare. I do wish the prices weren't so high and then tip. Its comfortable and clean. Thank you guys ✂️ 🪒

Cliff did a great job with my cut, wasnt afraid to ask the boss what he thought regarding the weird hairline in the back of my head and it came out nice with his recommended tapered cut. Good atmosphere quick scheduling and good service.
