My company Hager Photography had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding reception here at The Westin this fall and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, classy wedding experience. The Westin is such a unique venue! It's a great space and a great downtown location! You can't go wrong booking your wedding here.
We stayed here for two nights in October and the stay was good. Pros: The location is great for seeing Portland. The check-in process was efficient and friendly. Our room, on the 6th floor, was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It also had fairly nice views (though not of the water). The breakfasts were super nice and our server (Hillary) was very friendly and helpful. Cons: the area around the hotel can be a little scruffy. Parking is expensive. The parking isn't exactly attached to the hotel; you have to take an elevator and then walk a couple of hundred feet to enter the hotel.
