Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care is a private, locally-owned, and operated, multi-specialty veterinary center that has been serving Maine for more than thirty years. They provide compassionate, expert specialty and emergency care for pets, and peace of mind for their owners. The center has helped manage a client's English bulldog's allergies, allowing the dog to have a beautiful coat. Even in the most difficult situations, the staff has been described as dignified, kind, compassionate, candid, and loving, supporting pet owners through tragic times. Clients have also praised the center's doctors, particularly Dr. Shoelson, for their honesty, realism, and excellent care in managing their pets' advanced medical conditions.
It seemed very thorough, and the information provided each step was reassuring. All the staff were friendly to Phillie and me. Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Vet tech is from PA, Go Birds!!
She was very knowledgeable and great with Phillie
Doctor was great, gave me a plan and the feeling of hope for Phillie!! Feeling like we are headed to easing Phillies pain after a year of suffering. 🤞
Doctor and staff were professional, kind and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything and answer my questions, never making me feel rushed. Everyone I met was great, from the receptionist, vet tech and doctor. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Ryker seemed to be comfortable with everyone. That says a lot to me.
I honestly could not have been happier. From my initial phone call to set up an appointment, the friendly receptionist when we arrived, the vet tech and Dr Charbonneau. Everyone was fantastic. Everyone was just so amazing.
And, they were able to percribe medication that finally worked for our dog.
